I like understanding how things work—and finding out what happens when you try a different way.

My work spans engineering and product across AWS and Walmart, including complex healthcare and benefits systems. Terrain gives me a place to explore AI through hands-on experimentation.

Right now, that means building an autonomous AI engineering team, testing how it operates, and applying those lessons to a platform in stealth. I share the findings here as Lab Notes.

Lindsey
Barhanpure.

A useful idea has to fit the day of the person who actually uses it.

Lindsey brings technical and operational program experience from Amazon and Walmart, alongside the everyday perspective of running B Home Management and B Home Essentials.

Cadence grew out of that work: an operations assistant built around the tools and decisions in her business. That close connection between building and using software is part of what shapes Terrain.

01Why Terrain

A name with
room to explore.

The name comes from our love of riding and the outdoors. The lab comes from wanting to understand the unfamiliar by working through it.

We’ve worked together since 2017. We bring engineering and operating perspectives to the same table, ask each other difficult questions, and use our own work as a place to test ideas.

Terrain is independent. Our experience at Amazon, AWS, and Walmart is part of our background; this is our own work.
